Hi. My name is Cathy Ross. This is me with my two wonderful daughters, McKenzie on the left, and Brooke on the right. We’ve been a dynamic trio since 1995 and have grown very close. Anyway, I created Truffles and Tea in an effort to manifest a dream. At the time I purchased the domain name, I didn’t know exactly how my dream would manifest or what avenue of expression it would take. Now I know.
Photography is my hobby. I’m a self taught amateur. I take my camera with me everywhere I go. My favorite subject is flowers…they just speak to me. (For more on flowers, visit my photography blog at http://capturethesoul.wordpress.com They open up and bare their souls to me. I feel so priveleged to know them as they let me know them. The flowers seem to trust me and allow me to expose their wisdom. I also enjoy photographing landscapes and animals. Anything that is as it is in nature or built on nature becomes a canvas for me. I love to see things from new perspectives or in ways I never saw before. I love to capture a moment in time, and preserve it’s expression in that moment.
I know I am living my heart’s desire when I create art. Photography is a passion. I get so completely absorbed in it that I completely lose track of time. It’s cool because I can photograph the same flower a zillion times and come up with a zillion unique expressions. For that one brief second, I become one with my subject, and through the captured memory, can become one again and again.
I hope you enjoy Truffles and Tea!!

Cathy,
Dave Cook told me about Truffles & Tea after seeing me post some of my digital flower shots on Face Book. He knew I would love it. Your pictures and words inspire me to do more with my camera.
Thanks!
Russ
Cathy,
This is excellant, the pictures, the writing, everything. I enjoyed it very much. Look forward to the cards. I am sending a link to my cousin, he paints flowers, I think he will love your work and maybe want to paint some of it.
I remember watching the fireworks at the golf course in Bernardsville too!
